Each year, the author of the case study which is used
during the annual Faculty/Industry
Seminar is named the Coltrin Professor of the Year
in recognition of his or her dedication to communications
education. The awardee is recognized among his colleagues
at the Seminar in the fall and is recognized at a major
industry event.
The award is funded by IRTS Board Director Steve Coltrin,
Chairman of Coltrin & Associates, a full-service
company, specializing in strategic public relations
and marketing communications.

The 2004 Coltrin Professor of the Year is Amanda
D. Lotz, Ph.D, Assistant Professor
of Communications at Denison University. Prof.
Lotz authored the case study that was selected
through national competition for implementation
at our annual Faculty/Industry Seminar.
